Measure your ring size before shopping so you don’t have to adjust your new ring later.
For the most accurate measurement:
Place a ring that you on a professional ring sizer mandrel.
Use a professional ring sizer. Make sure to measure your finger at room temperature; heat and cold can cause your fingers to swell or constrict.
Find an approximate fit with one of the tools below.

RING SIZE CHART
Place your ring over the nearest size circle. This is a less accurate method than the mandrel so it is preferable to take o larger size than a smaller if the ring is between two options. The inner edge of the ring should align with the outer edge of the circle.

Finger size strip
To create a ring sizer, print and cut the strip behind.

|
|
Insert the narrow end of the sizer through the “cut here” slot. With numbers on the outside, place the loop around your finger, and pull until the fit is snug but comfortable.

REALITY CHECK
Rings are hard metal objects that can be measured exactly, but your finger is flesh and bone. Your finger is not round and it cannot be measured with the same degree of accuracy as the ring. At the end of the day, the right ring is one that will stay on comfortably. Average ring finger sizes may be useful as a point of the reference for people who are not very good at measurements.
